Is there hope for society?
2 Kings 2:19-22
Problem Defined:
Jericho – inherent sin problem
Water = source of life
Where hope is NOT:
Fathers of the city
at a loss
Answer is NOT in
government
But there IS hope!
New bowl = un-tarnished by sin
Salt – preserving work of God
The ONLY hope is the
gospel
Therefore, you must…
Be saved
Build your home on the gospel
Make a commitment to build a strong church
Share the gospel
