•        Godliness is our goal and pursuit: v.6, 11,

•        Should reflect redemption: 18-19

 

Principle 2: The Enemy: Emotions

 

Emotions:

Desires

Foolish/harmful lusts

Love of money

Enemy:

Snare

Drown

Stray from faith

Pierced through – sorrows

 

Principle 3: Pursue by planning:

 

•        Budget = spiritual total gym

 

•        Pursuit of Godliness not wealth
